‘Degree awarding private institutes can’t offer franchise’

LAHORE, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has made it clear that no private degree granting foundation (DAI) will be permitted to offer its establishment, connection or study focus and guided the DAIs over the territory to invalidate every such association and establishments, and stop current affirmations promptly.

The choice was made amid a meeting of the PHEC representing body on Thursday which was held to address the issues of unlawful sub-grounds, affiliations and establishments of private part DAIs in Punjab.

PHEC executive Prof Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin led the meeting while Secretary Higher Education Department Punjab Nasim Nawaz, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Aslam, LUMS Vice Chancellor Dr Sohail Naqvi, Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Dr Najma Najam and different individuals went to the meeting.

Then, as per an official statement the commission after point by point thoughts chose unlawful sub-grounds of any private segment DAI would not be permitted to work.
