Over 200 Peshawar students join solidarity caravan

PESHAWAR: A gathering of 225 understudies, both young men and young ladies, left Peshawar for Quetta to join Karwan-i-Yakjehti (troop of solidarity) and take an interest in the 70th Independence Day festivities.

The occasion has been mutually composed by Pak Army and Higher Education Commission wherein understudies from all the four areas and Gilgit-Baltistan would partake.

The appointment containing understudies of nine colleges including University of Peshawar, Khyber Medical University, Islamia College University, Engineering University, Agricultural University, Institute of Management Sciences, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University and Abaseen University.

The understudies boarded an extraordinary train at Cantonment Railways Station on Thursday morning to take an interest in the festivals.

Prior to their flight, the understudies displayed national hymn at the railroads station. The bad habit chancellors and teachers of various colleges and agents of Higher Education Commission were additionally present on the event.

Conversing with writers, Shafiullah, chief of Higher Education Commission, said that Karwan-i-Yakjehti was gone for passing on a message to the world that whole Pakistani country was joined against terrorism.

He said that all youngsters ought to remember the essential motivation behind formation of the nation with the goal that they could work for advancement of the nation and advancement of the country.
