FDE chief submits apology to IHC

ISLAMABAD: The chief general, Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Dr Shahnaz A. Riaz on Monday presented an unlimited statement of regret to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for her "derisive" conduct.

The IHC Justice Noorul Haq N. Qureshi had issued her bailable capture warrants on August 24 after she didn't show up in the witness of the court to go to the knowing about a request recorded by a furniture supplier looking for recuperation of Rs1.2 million supposedly due towards the FDE.

On August 25, the court requested her capture after she traded a couple words with the judge yet was discharged on submitting Rs50,000 surety bonds.

Prior, on August 28, the DG presented her answer under the watchful eye of the court saying that she had cleared the remarkable measure of the furniture supplier.

She guaranteed under the watchful eye of the court that her nonattendance from the hearing on August 24 was not consider as she was in the National's meeting Assembly standing board of trustees and her cellular telephone was exchanged off and couldn't be reached by her staff.

On Monday, Dr Riaz showed up under the watchful eye of the court alongside president IHC bar affiliation Raja Aleem Khan Abbasi and some different legal counselors.

Abbasi told the court that DG FDE was submitting unequivocal conciliatory sentiment under the steady gaze of the court for what she said on August 25.

He said she was exceptionally disturbed for airing and distributed of the news about issuance of her capture warrants, and whatever she said had troubled her.

The court, be that as it may, guided the DG to admit her wrongdoing first. The judge further guided her to delicate a composed expression of remorse before him and deferred further procedures till September 29.
