Higher Education Commission's role invaluable for growth of social sciences

Karachi, The Higher Education Commission has assumed a basic part in the improvement of the field of sociologies in Pakistan

Dr Syed Akbar Zaidi, a teacher at Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies Institute, said this while conveying an address at the end session of a gathering on administration, training and sociologies scrutinize on Monday.

The two day unsettled was mutually sorted out by the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Karachi, and Iqra University.

He said absence of value research by researchers was the essential driver of the decrease of sociologies in the 1990's however in the 21st century, the field of sociologies has grown quickly.

Dr Zaidi hailed the Karachi and Iqra colleges for holding the gathering.

The end session was led by Professor Dr Arifa Farid, previous dignitary at the personnel of sociologies in KU.

Finishing up the session, Faculty of Social Science Dean Professor Dr Moonis Ahmar said that the joint effort between general society and private area was exceedingly exemplary.
