NAB launched inquiry against 600 teachers recruited on fake documents

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched an investigation against more than 600 teachers of false documents in Balochistan Education Department began recruiting the learned Monday.

Sources in the department of education told Dawn that NAB has almost completed a survey of more than 200 fraudulent teachers.

Teachers work in primary schools and secondary schools in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan for more than 10 years, they said. In addition to completing the work, recovery is made of teachers "false", they added.

NAB sources said that most teachers are false teaching certificates of various institutions in Sindh. Most teachers were appointed on false documents in Quetta, Panjgur, Killa Abdullah, Bolan, Pishin and other parts of Balochistan.

"We decided to clean Training false teachers," Saboor Kakar, Education Secretary Balochistan said Dawn. The Department of Education has already committees to ferret out "fake" ghost teachers and schools across the province.

"False teachers will not be spared," Kakar has sworn, saying that all efforts have been made to the merit in the department of education.

For the first time the government has allocated 24 percent of Balochistan budget for the promotion of training and salaries of teachers in the province.

The government must ensure a campaign called "Welcome to School" in the entry for children out of school in the province.

Be registered in the country, wil 600,000 children in schools in the province, said Kakar.
