Punjab Education Foundation launched Scheme for deserving children

LAHORE: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has the expansion phase of its 14 Coupon education system (EVS) started in 10 selected districts to extend free education to deserving children. These neighborhoods are Faisalabad, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Mianwali, Pakpattan, Sargodha and Sheikhupura. The Plan is available in some union councils of those areas where people from the lower level of society to remain and they need free education for their children.

A spokesman said PEF NGOs and non-profit and profiteers of the partnership application institutions have three years of relevant work experience and added that the partnership could be made in person or at the institutional level. Likewise, private of private schools apply for partnership if their school work in the same union councils (UCS) for the last three years. It is essential to mention here that PEF RS450 pays for primary, Rs 500 for medium and RS600 for pupils, his EVS partners under this scheme in addition to providing free textbooks for students. PEF keeps checking the quality assurance of these students annually to the academic level of the EFD partners.
