GIK Institute’s quality enhancement cell gets top score

SWABI: The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has set Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in the highest "W" class with 94 for each penny score, as per the staff of the Institute.

"W" is the highest classification in the QEC rating criteria with a score falling in the scope of 85 for every penny to 100 for each penny," Prof Javed Ahmad Chattha, Pro-Rector (Academic), told journalists on Monday.

The employees said the accomplishment would not have been conceivable without the joined exertion of QEC group under the supervision of Prof Chattha.

QEC at GIK Institute conducts different workshops and courses to prepare workforce on Outcome-Based Education/Assessment (OBE/OBA) framework, Prof Chattha said, including a worldwide workshop OBE was as of late sorted out by QEC group at GIK Institute.
