KARACHI: The United Nations has designated Prof Dr Attaur Rahman administrator of the UN council on Science, Technology and Innovation.
Prof Rahman, previous government clergyman for science and innovation, will seat the initially meeting of the board of trustees in Bangkok on Monday.
The UN Economic Social Commission for Asia and Pacific will likewise hold its meeting in Bangkok that day.
