Minister promises degrees to BZU students

LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed has reported that the Bahauddin Zakriya University (BZU) will grant degrees to the understudies of its sub-grounds in Lahore.

The priest, who came to the Lahore grounds of the varsity here on Tuesday, guaranteed the understudies that their scholarly years would be spared.

"The understudies of the Lahore grounds who have finished their courses will be recompensed degrees by the BZU Multan. Furthermore, those proceeding with their studies here will be selected with the Multan grounds," the pastor said.

To determine the status of the BZU Lahore grounds, the priest said the Punjab Assembly Standing Committee would examine the matter on Friday.

Many understudies have been challenging throughout the previous a while for not getting their grounds subsidiary with the Higher Education Commission. They say their two scholastic years would go waste if the administration neglects to intercede. On Monday, the understudies blocked Canal Road for a few hours and tossed activity out of rigging.

Rana Mashhood further said such a circumstance would not emerge again as the legislature would guarantee every single lawful viewpoint before opening sub grounds of foundations.
