FG colleges to be reverted to previous nomenclature

Islamabad, Secretary CA and DD Mr Khalid Hanif said that he would do every conceivable push to restore the old name of Federal Government Colleges of ICT which now are known as Islamabad Model Colleges.

He was talking on the event of an Investiture Ceremony held at Islamabad Model Postgraduate College F-7/2 on Wednesday. The FG universities were precluded from securing their personality under the system of consistency in the foundations of Islamabad around the same time (Novemebr 18) in 2010 when the then leader Yusuf Raza Gilani coordinated to change the classification from F.G Colleges to Islamabad Model Colleges.

The thought process behind the change of classification was the consistency of training, not the unimportant change in names.
