Book of short stories launched

Islamabad: The starting function of Dr Rasheed Amjad's book 'Gamlay Mein Uga Hua Shehr' distributed by NBF was sorted out and facilitated by Professor Qaisra Alvi and Hameed Alvi here, says a press discharge.

The keynote article was perused by Dr. Musarrat Parveen Neelam, previous chief of the Federal College for Women, G-10/4, Islamabad. She talked profoundly of Dr. Rasheed Amjad's short stories. She said the creator has skilfully communicated the cutting edge sensibility and creatively depicted his characters as indicated by diverse circumstances.

Countless, authors and dignitaries went to the capacity and talked about the surprising artistic work of Dr. Rasheed Amjad. The individuals who took an interest included Akram Zaki, Masood Mufti, Farida Hafeez, Shaukat Kazmi, Irum Abida, Dr. Qasim Bughio, Dr. Anwar Naseem, Laeeq Toor, Zubair Qureshi and Hasan Zaidi among others. While talking about the book, they said that the National Book Foundation is assuming an essential part in giving quality books to the perusers.

Dr. Rasheed Amjad expressed gratitude toward Professor Qaisra Alvi and every one of his companions and said that he would never forget these minutes. "There is no decrease in the book-perusing culture however the genuine obligation lies upon the shoulders of educators to advance the book-perusing propensity in the youthful era.

On the event, Dr. Rasheed Amjad read out his short story titled 'Dukh Eik Chiria Hai' which was hailed by the members.
